Opening in Spring 2020, the Children’s Museum will feature 3 brand-new experiential, hands-on exhibitions for children ages 0-7: Let’s Play, Creative Corner, and All Aboard!
These new spaces will allow for playful learning in which children try out ideas, test theories, conquer their fears, experiment with symbol systems, explore social relations, take risks, andmake friends. Failure is an opportunity to try again and discover a new way forward. All these activities are important to foster early on as they build the foundation for the scientific process.
Let’s Play! Created for our youngest of explorers – babies, crawlers, toddlers and their caregivers- this unique space is designed for developmental needs with multiple sensory and role-playingactivities.
Creative Corner Art meets science in a whole new way with a versatile, multisensory area designed for the entire family. Paint on glass, interact with sand and light tables to engage sensesand stimulate minds.
All Aboard Explore how steam engines work while encouraging play, exploration, observation and collaborative problem-solving in this train-centric space.
We are so close to our goal! With your generous support, we can ensure a successful opening for the youngest learners visiting Science City in their pursuit of a STEMful early education.
